Medication Disposal

Safely disposing of unused or expired medication protects you, your family, and the ecosystem. Here’s how you can safely dispose of your unwanted medication (including prescriptions, vitamins, and over-the-counter medications):

1. Request a medication mailer. You can drop your medications into a pre-paid envelope, seal it, and drop in any mailbox – no postage required!  Email or call Tali Schiller (naschiller@challiance.org | 617-665-3872) to request a free envelope.

2. Drop them off anytime at your local police department. A medication drop-box is available 24/7 in the front lobby.
