Somerville Data

The Youth Risk Behavior Survey (YRBS) is administered to Somerville High School and Middle School students every year alternating years between High School and Middle Schools. The results are used to identify and track prevalence of health-risk behaviors that Somerville adolescents engage in. Survey procedures are designed to protect the privacy of students by allowing anonymous and voluntary participation. The Somerville Office of Prevention partners with the Cambridge Health Alliance, Somerville Public Schools, and Social Science Research and Evaluation Inc. to help administer the survey.
