Are you worried about overdoses happening in your neighborhood? Wondering how you can help prevent a fatal overdose?

The Cambridge Public Health Department and AIDS Action Committee are supporting local faith-based organizations in keeping our community safe for everyone. Together they are offering a free overdose prevention and response training on November 6th, 6:30-8:00 p.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, 311 Broadway in Cambridge. This comprehensive training covers:

  • Recognizing the signs of an overdose
  • Responding to an overdose safely and effectively
  • Empowering yourself to make the right decisions

Pharmacists will be on-site dispensing naloxone, the medication that reverses an overdose! If you are interested in leaving the event with naloxone, bring your insurance card. To save time, insurance information can also be submitted beforehand at https://www.endmassoverdose.org/opioidrescue.

Light refreshments will be served. View and download the flyer here
